Refundable and non-refundable offers
A refundable rate may allow free cancellation only until a specified date and time. After that deadline, a cancellation charge may apply. A non-refundable rate can involve a charge up to the full booking amount if you cancel or do not arrive.
The label in the search results is a guide. The specific deadlines, penalties and remarks in the selected offer are the conditions to review.
Check these details
- The exact cancellation deadline, including its time zone.
- The cancellation charge before and after each deadline.
- Rules for non-arrival, shortening the stay or changing the dates.
- Whether taxes and property charges are included in the stated amounts.
If the supplier has not provided an exact deadline or penalty schedule, do not assume that cancellation is free.
A saved offer is not a booking
Searching, selecting or saving an offer does not create a reservation or a payment obligation. A BELVOYA booking is confirmed after payment and supplier confirmation. Removing an item from your watchlist only removes the saved search; it does not cancel a hotel booking. A confirmed BELVOYA booking can be reviewed in My bookings, where supported cancellation is checked with the supplier before you confirm it.
For a booking made through another service, use the contact details and instructions in that service’s booking confirmation. For a BELVOYA booking, use the booking reference and cancellation details shown in your BELVOYA account.
After cancellation
Check the final cancellation status and any charge in My bookings. A cancellation request is not a confirmed cancellation. A refund amount reported by the supplier does not by itself mean the money has already appeared on your card; processing also depends on the payment provider and your bank. If the status is unclear or you need help with a refund, contact us with your booking or BELVOYA order reference.
